Thank you to everyone who came out for our October CannaVenture with The Honeybee Collective!
This month’s hike was also our season finale for our seventh season, and I cannot thank you all enough for continuing to support outdoor cannabis events.
As I joked with a few attendees, with Boulder hikes, you never know if the trailhead is going to be a developed parking lot with facilities, or a trailhead tucked off the shoulder of a road.
In our case, this hike was a mixture of both; there was plenty of parking, but we had a few people whose GPS took them to a slightly different location, and the trailhead was actually about a tenth of a mile further up the canyon road.
Nonetheless, we had a great showing of crew members, and an almost equal showing of CannaVenture pups!
The Honeybee Collective welcomed crew members with some samplings of their Party pre-rolls (a double-pack of Durban) and stickers, and shared a bit about their mission to bring a more sustainable focus to cannabis, minimizing waste and supporting sun-grown grows.
We hit the trail at 1:30PM after everyone had arrived and gotten their gear.
As we headed down the stairs of the trail, eventually crossing a bridge, we took a group photo before continuing towards the main loop. We also had a few late arrivals catch up with us on the trail!
The trail looks somewhat like a lopsided sewing needle, with a short stem and an elongated loop around Betasso Preserve. Because it was an easier hike, and around four miles long, we had plenty of time to stop, sesh, and catch our breath.
Thank you to those who attended, to The Honeybee Collective (who even had cupcakes waiting for us at the end), and to you, the reader.
Join us for our Season 8 Opener on Earth Day, April 22, 2023!
Round off 4/20 week by spending Earth Day in nature. More details will be announced in the coming months.
Thank you all and see you soon!
