Thank you to everyone who came out to kick off our SEVENTH season hosting CannaVenture® events!
In spite of some cooler temperatures and some serious (40mph+) winds, we had a great group of high-spirited hikers join us in Evergreen for a hike in Elk Meadows.
Dialed In Gummies rewarded the earliest attendees with their choice of some fun flavors of infused gummies and we gave out the first ever CannaVenture NFT POAP to everyone who attended.
We had originally planned to take the Painted Pause & Noble Meadow trail, but, given the wind and the trail’s location in the center of a large flat area, we opted instead to hike the Sleepy Trail, which veered off into the woods, helping to mitigate some of the wind.
When we came to the fork, the group made the decision to take the shorter (~2.5 miles) out and back trail given the windy conditions.
As we headed back, we found a large, rocky area with enough protection from the wind to allow for a brief smoke sesh to officially kick off the 2022 CannaVenture season. (All roaches/ashes were self-contained in small, fireproof ashtray pouches carried by attendees).
Our next event will be 5/21/22 on Upper Mule Deer Trail in Golden Gate Canyon State Park.
